The 8 best roof measurement and proposal platforms.
Some of these tools just measure the roof. Some only build the proposal. A few do the whole loop — measurement, design, proposal, and CRM. Tap any platform for the full review, including what it includes vs. what it leaves to another tool.

The most accurate roof reports, generated in under 7 seconds — 82% more reliable than hand-measured.
Artemis is a measurement + proposal platform for roofing, solar, and home-improvement contractors. AI-generated roof reports come back in under 7 seconds and are 82% more reliable than hand-measured takeoffs, per Artemis. The same workflow produces a sendable proposal with financing integrations (GoodLeap, IGS, Dividend, Sungage, Sunlight), e-signed contracts, and project tracking. Most measurement tools stop at the report; most CRMs need a measurement service plugged in. Artemis includes both, priced per-design rather than per-seat.

Best for
Energy + roofing contractors who design and quote enough volume to amortize a subscription and want every feature included at every tier
Starts at
$7.13/design (100-design plan, with 15% prepaid discount)
All-in-one roofing CRM with $13 measurement reports baked in.
Roofr is the closest direct overlap with Artemis in this comparison: it bundles aerial measurement reports, proposal generation, a Kanban pipeline, invoicing, and payments into seat-inclusive monthly tiers. Reports are delivered in roughly two hours for $13–$19 and the entry tier is permanently free with pay-as-you-go reports. In January 2025 the company closed a Series B led by TCV with ABC Supply joining as a strategic investor — a unique supply-chain tie-in.

Small-to-midsize residential roofing contractors (1–25 employees) whose primary workflow is lead → measurement → proposal → close
Aerial roof measurement reports from GAF, the largest US shingle manufacturer.
GAF QuickMeasure is an aerial roof measurement report service: a contractor submits a property address and receives a PDF report with roof area, pitches, edge/ridge/hip/valley footage, and a bill of materials — usually in under an hour for single-family. It is a measurement utility, not a proposal builder or CRM, and is typically paired with one. The product launched in June 2021 and is a GAF-branded wrapper around a third-party measurement engine.

Best for
Price-sensitive residential roofing contractors — especially GAF-certified shops and those already ordering through Beacon PRO+ or ABC Supply — who want fast aerial measurements without a subscription
Starts at
From $18 per single-family report; +$10 for code + hail/wind history add-on
Per-report; volume tiers; EagleView One subscription (quote-based)
Vista Equity (2015), Clearlake (2018)
The legacy aerial roof measurement standard, now reimagined as EagleView One 3D
EagleView is the legacy incumbent in aerial roof measurement reports, founded in 2008 and headquartered in Bellevue, WA. The company captures and processes proprietary aerial imagery to produce detailed roof measurement reports used by roofing contractors, insurance carriers, and adjusters. Its core product line spans QuickSquares (a fast, lightweight square-count report), the Premium Report (the workhorse for residential roofing with full pitch, facets, ridge/hip/valley measurements, and ESX export for Xactimate), Bid Perfect, and commercial/Full House reports that add walls, windows, and doors. In June 2025 EagleView launched EagleView One, an interactive 3D property model that replaces static PDFs with a subscription-based platform, and in February 2026 expanded it with ultra-high-fidelity exterior 3D including walls, windows, and doors at 98.77% claimed accuracy. EagleView's primary buyers are insurance-restoration roofers and storm-chasers who need ESX-compatible reports, plus large national contractors who already standardize on it. Its biggest strength is integration breadth: AccuLynx, JobNimbus, Roofr, ServiceTitan, Leap, and most major roofing CRMs pull EagleView reports directly into estimate workflows. Pricing is sales-gated and opaque — public reports peg standard reports at $15-$38 and Premium/Bid Perfect at roughly $60-$87 per residential report, with EagleView One subscriptions quote-based. Owned by Vista Equity Partners (acquired 2015) with later Clearlake Capital investment, EagleView sits in the 'measurement-only' tier — it does not run proposals, CRM, or financing. It competes head-to-head with GAF QuickMeasure, Roofr Measurements, and Hover on price and speed, while remaining the default for insurance work where its ESX export and storm/hail history reports are differentiators.
Roof measurement

CRM / pipeline
Best for
Insurance-restoration and storm-chasing roofers who need ESX-exportable measurement reports with the broadest CRM integration footprint and hail/wind history data
Starts at
QuickSquares ~$15-$38; Premium/Bid Perfect ~$60-$87 per residential report; EagleView One subscription sales-quoted
End-to-end roofing CRM with industry-leading Xactimate integration.
AccuLynx is the long-established roofing CRM, built since 2008 with particular depth in insurance-restoration workflows. The Xactimate integration that imports scope sheets and auto-maps line items is the single biggest reason insurance-heavy roofers choose it. It does not measure roofs natively — contractors import from Xactimate or order EagleView separately. In July 2025, Verisk announced a $2.35B acquisition; the deal was terminated in December 2025 after the FTC failed to clear it in time.
Roof measurement

Best for
Established mid-market residential roofing contractors (10–100+ employees) with significant insurance-restoration revenue, especially in storm/hail markets

Measure, design, and estimate — all from smartphone photos turned into a 3D model.
Hover turns smartphone photos of a property into a fully measured 3D model, then layers design (visualizing real shingle/siding/trim products on the model), estimating, and proposal generation on top. Unlike satellite-based competitors, someone has to be on-site to capture photos — a workflow strength for accuracy but a bottleneck for high-volume storm-restoration shops. Used primarily as a measurement + visualization tool alongside a separate CRM.
Roof measurement
Proposal generation
CRM / pipeline
Best for
Mid-to-high-volume exterior contractors — full-exterior remodelers, retail roofing/siding shops, and restoration contractors who do enough on-site sales calls to justify per-project or subscription cost, especially when upselling premium materials
Starts at
$25/job pay-as-you-go (construction segment); Starter $99/mo; Pro tier sales-quoted
Subsidiary of Porch Group (NASDAQ: PRCH) since Jan 2021
Measure roofs, estimate materials, simulate projects, generate proposals — all from one app.
iRoofing is a tablet-first measurement and in-home sales toolkit. The core flow is aerial/satellite roof measurement, AI-assisted visualization of new shingle styles/colors on the homeowner’s actual house, and on-the-spot proposal generation. It is not a CRM — contractors needing pipeline, scheduling, or accounting plug in a separate system. A subsidiary of Porch Group (NASDAQ: PRCH) since January 2021. Pricing is published as a single bundled plan at $149/mo or $1,489/yr.
Roof measurement
Proposal generation
CRM / pipeline
Best for
Small-to-mid residential roofing contractors (1–15 reps) whose primary need is fast on-site measurement and a polished in-home sales presentation, especially shops running the proposal in front of the homeowner on a tablet
$330M control investment from Sumeru Equity Partners, Nov 2024
The customizable contractor CRM with one of the largest installed bases in roofing.
JobNimbus is a residential contractor CRM with deep workflow customization, drag-and-drop Kanban pipelines, and a strong mobile app that averages around 4.8 stars. It does not measure roofs itself — contractors order EagleView or Hover reports separately and feed them in. Pricing is sales-gated, and total cost commonly lands two to three times the headline once add-ons stack. In November 2024, Sumeru Equity Partners took a $330M control investment in the company.
